A resident of Frederick,
Maryland, Rebecca Jackson has been painting in oils for eleven years.
Her paintings represent the beauty of flowers, still life,
birds and landscapes. |

Rebecca has studied with Barbara Buer (Mechancisburg
Art School and Galleries, Mechanicsburg, PA) and is presently studying
with artist Claire Beadon Carnell (Pine School Studio, Gardners,
PA). In 2002, she participated in a plein air workshop with
Earl Blust (Seven Lively Artists). |

Her paintings have been exhibited at the Whitaker
Center in Harrisburg, PA, Mechanicsburg Art School and Galleries
in Mechanicsburg, PA, Fetters Brookside Market in Carlisle, PA,
Ecclectibles in Frederick, MD, and the Delaplaine Visual Education
Center in Frederick, MD. |

In addition, Rebecca has provided commissioned
art work for the public in California, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West
Virginia and Maryland. She was commissioned to do art work
for the Halloween Activities at the Country Market in Mechanicsburg,
PA. |

Rebecca has taught children's art classes
for three years at the Mechancisburg Art School and Galleries in
Mechanicsburg, PA. She is presently teaching children's art
classes and providing art history birthday parties at the Delaplaine
Visual Education Center in Frederick, MD. |

Rebecca has been a member of the Carlisle
Art Association and has served as Exhibit Committee Chairman and
Board Member at the Mechancisburg Art School and Galleries in Mechanicsburg,
PA. She is a current member of the Mechancisburg Art School and
Galleries in Mechanicsburg, PA, the Frederick Art Association and
the Delaplaine Visual Education Center in Frederick, MD. |
